No, after update it recovers the stored settings, including IP. I checked it. Now I rolled to a stored image and FTP work property. I found references to what you need to change vsftpd.conf by change nopriv_user=vsftpd to nopriv_user=ftp. Tomorrow I will try to update again
 
I have a problem, when I try to set up my WIFI, it tells me cant write passphrase
I tried also with a backup same story. Any one to help out please?

Usb format fat32, Download image, unzip to usb folder vuplus/duo2. Put usb in front and start box , push little button beside usb and relese when its reading usb
