in my experience BH has best quality and resolution but OBH has very comfortable function

As Shiro recommeded in the Italian section for the same issue, the patch has to be tested. The overwriting problem seems to be fixed but there can be other unexpected behaviours. So, keep your eyes open!

EDIT: Shiro has just confirmed it seems to be everything OK and that the next online update will have this patch included. So, finally BH got rid of this issue, it seems

and my tests are also good
But the problem was because some providers or epg did not have a good epg time / date stamp used for recording.
That's why it is good to test for more providers and channels.

Thank you Matrix10. Thanks to you I was able to patch RecordTimer.py of BH 3.0.5 and now recording filenames are now correctly updated.

Is never possible to "update" online from a version to the next: 305 and 306 are two different versions and it would not be a simple update but an upgrade.
So, what Ev0 said is that you can only flash from scratch the 3.0.6. You can also save your channels by a software or simply by OpenWebInterface and its Bouquet Editor.
All the rest must configured from scratch.
