When I install the image the VU crashes (it says myplayer crashed). I am a VU+ Solo retailer and all the previous versions work fine but on most vu's (let's say 50% of them) crash as soon as I finish setup. I am probably and clearly doing something wrong here, can someone please help?

hello, i never do a update; i have 1.7.3 version , i have to dwld , unzip , copy this on the root of flash usb(formated fat32), and plug in it behind and plug the device ... it's good ? please help me (if u want I speak french)

I recently updated my vu solo to 2.0.5 from this website.
But now anytime I try to install an ipk from the tmp folder I get an "Unknown Package" error.

Example

Unknown package 'enigma2-plugin-rats-bouquets'

And it fails to install.

This happens with any ipk I try to install.

Any idea what is wrong?

Seems you have installed a strange package not yet present on your image.
I remember that the package you mention is not yet delivered with BH images but it's an external package

But it worked fine on my previous BH image. Not sure what version it was.

NFI format is not yet provided because the USB zipfile is sufficient to flash our boxes.
Why you should need the NFI format?
