We will have to wait for Vu+ decisions for the future.
If Vu+ will switch to new kernel for the first generation machines Black Hole will switch too.
There is nothing else we can reply.

Just wanted to post some observations between BH 1.7.8 and 1.7.9 speed, I timed my previous 1.7.8 from switch off on rear panel until picture comes on screen total time took 1 Minute 27 seconds.

I then installed BH 1.7.9 with speed up, I installed exact same plugins i only have 2 Coolmans and Multiquickbutton. I then enabled the Speed up function by disabling all plugins in that menu.

After doing this i again switched power off on rear and switched on again and timed this until picture came on screen total time took 1 Minute 22 Seconds not much of a difference really.

I would have imagined that disabling all of them a speed increase would have been noted in bootup times as well.

I also detect no speed difference in image performance either

Now from windows to get to the hard drive there are a login and a password.
I put root for login and my password, but without success.

I can access to the flash memory by using the password and WinSCP, but no access to the hard drive.
