Sorry Shiro, but it doesn't...
I tried online update several times this morning and every time the receiver updates task-vu-plus and timezone-alternative. I have a message for a successful update but every time it updates the same 2 packages again, so probably the update is not done right...

I tried other timezones just to check, and I see the bug is there too...
Please check...

Other than that, great job as always. The image is great. A very-very big step ahead for Blackhole team!

Similarly. The two packages are task-vuplus-base and timezone-alternatives...

Just checked again tenth are supposed to be updated tenth again, but no timezone fix...

I thankful to Blackhole team. I glade to instal BH OE2 on my vu+uno. I observed that it is better and faster than all previous versions including BH 1.7.9 . It runs smoothly its plugins, such as TSonlineTV, 1Channel, media portal, etc.
It is fact that after installation the free space remained too little for instaling more plugins. For installation of more plugins I uninstalled some plugins and space was available. However, my uno is running smoothly

I also faced the problem that BH oe2 does not permit to install the CAMs. etc........ First of all I installed backup of BH oe2 (which is available) and I made backup of it, then I installed original BH oe2 and restored the backup. After restoring the backup I had TS panel 6.8, I installed easily mg-camd 1.38 and put the cline in it. Now it is running amoothly. However, the time is not correct. some solution please.

Learn to use universes. Leave BlackHole Universe "pure" and install everything in Avalon Universe.
This way you will have a "flash memory" as big as your usb stick...

Yeh. But better make sure that the USB Stick used for that purpose is also a fast one for both Read and Write (20MBps/8MBps or better) .
Unfortunately you can only measure this as in contrary to SD-cards there is not visible. There is no label/standard (=Class) specified for USB sticks. Many popular sticks and give-aways are (too) slow for this purpose. Better faster than bigger. A 2 Gbyte is probably already big enough for most environments (2 partitions of 1 G each).

When i use "Black Hole Speed Up" after fresh flash to turn off some plugins i dont need, it worked. But after online update, these disabled plugins is enabled again and i now cannot turn it off, in plugin i turn it off, save with red, need restart enigma and after restart plugins is already enabled and cannot disable it. Dont remember what i disable. Very bad. Thanks.

The Speed Up does what it says. It may speed up a bit and removes items you don't need/want from the GUI, but they are not removed from your image. To really free up flash you would need to do a full uninstall of each plugin individually.

A far better way of working for older boxes is using parallel universes (128K flash limit). It took me a while to find out how that works and did some log of experiences on it. You can then install truckloads of plugins also on the old boxes. RAM is mostly not a problem for existing plugins some specific (new) complex plugins may have additional requirements there.

Everyone who has the time zone errors in the receiver, have a defective receiver, throw them in the trash.

You must be kidding... I can't think of anything else...
The receiver worked just great with every other blackhole version as well as with every other image, OE1.6-2.0 or whatever anyone wants to call it...
It's a detail that must cause this bug, and I am confident that the team will work it out soon...

Have you tried the manual fix by replacing files ?

Yes i kidding. In previous versions OE1.6 receiver gets the time of the transponder is not getting any from where. If the command worked, they would have done so, as is done in any normal unix system. Script - ntpdate 91.189.94.4 and not have to think or anything. Manually install the script fails, the system policy is prohibited.

OK, it seems that there is a conflict between tzdata and timezones-alternative packages.
Previous version of task-vuplus-base depends on tzdata, where latest version depends on timezone-alternatives. Furthermore timezone-alternatives fails to install with the message " * check_data_file_clashes: Package timezones-alternative wants to install file /usr/share/zoneinfo/MST7MDT But that file is already provided by package * tzdata"

What I did to fix it was:
login through terminal to the box and run the following commands:
opkg update
opkg upgrade

You should get errors regarding timezone-alternatives and task-vuplus-base packages.

Now run the following:
opkg remove tzdata --force-depends
opkg upgrade

Running another opkg upgrade should tell you nothing (so, everything is upgraded).

Then reboot the box, and it should be fine (at least mine is).
