Boblight plugin and lightpack

I have installed the Boblight v.0.8r6 plugin

in my duo2 with blackhole 2.0.9, but I could't making work my lightpack with.

Any suggestion to configure it?

sorry for bump / late answer

I would not recommend ambilight of any kind to Solo.
I guess CPU is to weak,
but you could find some UNO's at least with ambilight on youtube

But if you have Playstation, Xbox or PC (xbmc) you could always buy HW to test on that device
but check for compatibility first.
Thereafter test on your Solo.
Personally I prefer Ambilight soft and I use karatelight 8ch HW
with 12 pcs IKE A leds on 47" TV

After creating the boblight.conf, I run the test without any led on. If I try to issue the lights on option, "no etc/boblight.conf" error appears.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi.
I have the same problem. I'v installed BlackHole 2.09 on my vu+duo. The bobligt-plugin isn't shown in the extensions-menu. Who knows how to get it work under BlackHole2.09? Do I have to install the mipsel or mipsel32-version?

try mips32el, but as I said why not try atmolight wich I prefer

Thanks for your reply. I have Lightpack and not the Atmolight. This works with boblight. The last Image I used was the openatv-image. There was the boblight-plugin on the feed. Do you know, whether Lightpack works with the atmolight plugin? Or ist it possible to set the boblight-plugin on the feed?

Don't think the atmolight soft-support lightpack hardware.
About feed:
try: put the downloaded boblight ipk linked above
in /tmp folder with help of DCC or filezilla or something
and use RC
[menu] "addons", "manually Install Ipk packages"

I've put it in tmp-folder with filezilla and installed it with addons --> manually install packages.
It works.

Elbmic,

What configuration do you use to work?. I have created a config file, but if I run a test, no lights on. With prismatik for windows, it works fine.
 
Hi.

Sorry for my late reply. I've just flashed the newest Black Hole Image on my vu+ Duo. I can't get it work now. The boblight (newest version) is installed and shown in the extensions-menu. When I try to make a config-file with the plugin I always get a greenscreen. When I put a former working conifg-file in /etc, the plugin shows, that there is no config-file in /etc-

Is there a bug in the plugin?

With the latest Black Hole-Image on my Vu+Duo I had problems with the newest boblight-plugin.
After creating a config-file I always got a greenscreen.

Now I have installed an older boblight-version (07.r8). This works fine.
