D-Link DWA-140 rev.B3 [rt5572] BH 2.0.2

Vu+ Newbie
This device doesn't work with WPA2 on BH 2.0.1/2.0.2. (Without any encryption, it works.)
It is recognized as wi-fi device and can scan air, but it did not connect to networks.
rt5372 uses rt2870sta drivers, which was deprecated and removed from Linux kernel 3.0 and added to rt2800usb

REMOVED LIVE LINK PLEASE CODE IT

So I want to ask you to try add it as tar archive on forum for test or directly in image.

On your diagnostic file, there is nothing reference to your wifi network. If you use "Don't broadcast SSID" pelase configure correctly your box to use "Hidden SSID" or enable "Broadcast SSID" from your router/access point configuration.

I will try that ....

Angelofsky remember with DWA-140 REV-B2 FW-1.71 when you reboot (not restart gui) the system, lost the network gateway(change it to no gateway) and you must reconfigure it...

thanks in advance for your excellent work.

I didn't do that because I know that it didn't work.

I cut rt5370sta module and /etc/Wireless/rt2870/... from OpenVuPlus and paste to BH 2.0.2,
Delete rt5572sta module. (Blacklist didn't work.)
depmod -A
Reboot reciever and all works fine!

RT5370STA and RT5572STA are DIFFERENT drivers.

RT5572 is the latest version who cover the chipset present into RT5372 driver
