Direct record problem

Have Vu+ Duo2 With BH 2.1.3.

When press on record button remote key my box crash (green screen) and the restart.
Any idea what to do?

Does this happen all the time? You tryed switching your box off at the back switch then back on? If these don't work then no option but to reflash

I have tried that also. Switch the box of (even with the power back on the box). But same behavior.

I take at few seconds from that I press the red button, until that the "green crash screen" appears..

reflash? I newly installed BH 2.1.3. I came from OpenPli. So I have very newly installed BH 2.13. Can I find any logs on what happen?

Have you mounted your hdd by devices manger?
However, you should find crashlog files in /hdd.

I have tried to find any reason in the crashlog. Show a lot, but I can't find any reason.
Are there any place to send logs like this to get any help.

I will not go back to OpenPli.

You can upload your last crashlog here.

Maybe the issue is due to a plugin.
Uninstall permanent timeshift and verify if instant recording works.

Thanks. It works. Permanet timeshift was the problem. I have uninstall the plungin and now direct recording work as it should.
Why are permanent timeshift enabled in plugin menu if it not works?


But now I have another problem. the fact that I not have a timeshift at at all. So If I like to rewind I no longer can.
I like often rewind to see missed scenes.

What are you saying?
It's a feature that always has been present.
To activate time shift you only need to press the pause button.

Yes, I know. But Openpli has this feature without press pause. You can configure to start timeshift after 5-30 sek.

It seams easy to press pause every time you swap channel. But you don't.

Missing this feature.

Permanent timeshift is an addon plugin. So install it into BH and you have fun.

Hi, I think permanent time shift is not the best thing for the HDD, It will run all the time, when you turn the receiver on till you turn it off. If you have any recordings on the internal HDD, it would be better to save them on an extenal drive. I think the receiver's HDD will not last as it should. Within any HDD there is a small rotating ingine which makes the discs turn and data to be read. The more it's used the less it will last.

Hey folks, I ve got 2.1.5 and I have same problem with a TimeShift as is mentioned (by Chelsea) on the TOP ? Is any another TimeShift plugins, how did you fix it ?
