I have seen that stv6110x is not loaded and so i "modprobe stv6110x" and after that, it

Now added 6110x to file "modules.dep",but after reboot box will not start.
Have to reflash image.
Any more things to test for me in this issue?

I've a question for you: there are some revision numbers reported on your device?
Any kind of infos can be useful to discover the problem.
Seems that your device is different than the one already supported by BH images.

I've reviewed the driver sources but seems all OK.

Burley

Vu+ Newbie
the inside pcb is signed and there is also a sticker.
Don t want to open it,but what i can see,is:

Sticker:
"Skystar PC05 USB S2 64683"

Pcb:
"Skystar....bla,bla.....
6414-500-v4 SCH-v6"

New Revisions?
With (some times older)actuell Pc win driver box is working.

Burley

Vu+ Newbie
Only one time i got Solo2 to recognize skystar "nearly" full.

It was a Vu+ Org Image1.6 from march.
When i installed fresh image, skystar were shown in Assistant
GUI as 3, Tuner, but no successful channelsearch possible....
Dmesg showed only different I2C errors.

After newstart box were not recognized anymore in this way
and since this time want the replay situation, but no success.

New Revisions?
With (some times older)actuell Pc win driver box is working.

It's the only thing that I can suppose because into drivers sources all things are correct and the STV6110x module is correctly selected as dependency.
Windows and Linux drivers are DIFFERENT things and cannot be compared.
Thanks for your post.

Your device has CI slot?

Burley

Vu+ Newbie
Have no CI modell, thats complete different hardware.
Look like i have same pcb revision,as here (Linux Tv)
TechniSat_SkyStar_USB_HD_internal.jpg

When all drivers are ok,what is the issue?
..and why the hell ,vu+ org 1.6 image have recognized it one time?
I`m not joking, but only have some photos of the GUI.
I m confused now.

look like errors in I2C-access code.
Increase debug level for dvb_usb_technisat-usb2 module.
Create /etc/modprobe.d/technisat-usb2.conf with
options dvb_usb_technisat-usb2 debug=7

Burley

Vu+ Newbie
Ok,i understand, see putty.log for dmesg and lsmod, the only other thing
i see is:
"dvb-usb: error -71 while querying for an remote control event."

But haven t touched the RC.

Correct MAC Adress is shown in log,but i have censored it .
