Duo2 Freeze then no signal

Over the last couple of months I have been experiencing problems with my Duo2.

I have a dual DVB-S2 tuner and 1 DVB-C/T.

When watching satellite TV the picture will sometimes freeze and no signal is detected anymore. It does not help to change channels between satellite tv but DVB-C channels still works. Doing a reboot from the menu does not fix it but if I power off/on then satellite tv works again.

Any ideas as to what could be the issue?

Most likely your antenna installation
cables, connectors, diseqc
 
I would also check your LNB.
If possible try and check your receiver on another set up, even a friends/family members fixed dish, as this will help confirm where the problem lies.
 
I am testing the same signal today on my Samsung TV with satellite tuners. So far I have yet to see the issue.
 
Have you checked your VU+ Duo 2 system information, when these freezes occur?
You press the Blue button followed by the yellow, I think, check the options, at the bottom of the page, after pressing the Blue button.
