Freezing on "Starting ...."

I have the same problem. After upgrade to 1.79 it is stuck on starting...
I have a genuine vu plus duo one of the first, no usb or network cable. But I have internal hdd.

I bought mine from maxsat.no on th 15 of march 2010. It does not have a sticker on top.
The newest org. image is booting fine....

Have you tried switching off at the back for 15 - 20 seconds, allowing the box to fully shut down after being flashed.

Then turning it back on ?
