Vu+ Newbie
Hi guys,

I have just bought a Vu+ solo2 box from a person in a private sale on a forum and he insists it's genuine but is there anyway to tell for sure?

Thanks.

For one week old box the price is too low. Minimum price (from Eastern Europe official dealer abcom) for public has to be 319,00 Eur in SK and 8190,00 CZK in CZ, VAT included.

The biggest problem is that people buy something and know that price is not realistic,
buy in stores without any guarantee.
Well aware of the risks.

If you had bought at the verified store you could return the box after a year and not only after 7 days
if you tricked.
On the contrary in the west of Europe you can deliver these to court.

The easiest way is to pretend that you did not know what you buy.

I do not believe
in most cases these know what they are buying.

Trialing game in miracles
not on the market.
The difference of 20 euros would somehow passed.

I found this compare on another satellite forum
whether it is correct of course I do not know.

the man i got it from says he got for £290
but he dont know how to use it

Im sorry for you,

It is not the quality of workmanship from VU +

This is an amateur production,
for such construction and quality of printed boards and solders, I would not give even half a cent.

Warning to our members
Be very careful and be sure to inspect the inside
quality of printed board and solders.

Ok if that is the box that you are having issue's with, then I would contact the retailer that you bought it from, and ask for it to be repaired, as there must be an issue with it and as it is only 9 months old, it will still be under warranty.

As said, the drivers are closed source and are made by Vu+ therefore there is nothing we can do to help with this issue, it is very possible that there is an issue with the hardware in your box and that is why it now reports an error with the updated FPGA that is included in the latest Solo2 drivers.
