gs while zapping up and down in the channellist

Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a strange problem I can't find a solution to. I'm having this problem with the tv channel Kika HD and Kika on Astra 19,2E. I am able to choose these channel by typing the channelnumber directly on the remote. Both channels then work normaly. But everytime when I am zapping trough the channellist using the up and down buttons, my receiver freezes and comes up with a gs as soon as I get to one of these channels. I tried deleting them both completly from my list and zapping trough the channellist then works fine. Once I rescan the channellist and select the then newly found Kika HD or Kika channel, the receiver goes down with a green screen again.

I am using 1.7.7 rev. B

Hopefully someone has any clue what's going on here

Probably there is any problem with your settings, did you try to use any package downloaded by our server?

I'm using my personal channel list. It's a channellist I have been using for a very long time now. It has always worked up untill now.
Maybe it's time I start from zero again and create a new build. All packages and plugins are from BH server except Vali's EPG and *******.
What I find strange is that if I delete Kika and Kika HD fromthe list there's no problem at all.

Same problem with my vu+duo since 1.7.5 update but with anthers channels ... i hope our team fix this problem..

Check the STB tuner configuration ( Try : Send DiseqC only on satellite change >> yes)!
Then make re scan of Satellites!

And by the way, are U using a motor settings?

I' m not using motor settings. I have mounted a multiblock to my dish. Tried you're suggestion " Send DiseqC only on satellite change >> yes" , but unfortunately it made no difference.

However this evening I got a step closer to my problem. The cause of the problem obviously lies within in the crossepg plugin or it's database. In the faultlog there is an error about the epgcache. (FATAL: epgcache.cpp:150 ASSERTION pos <= 4108 FAILED!) So tonight I deleted the crossepg database and did a reboot to make sure crossepg has no database available or it's not present in memory. Turns out I can zap trough the channel list using the up and down buttons and won't get the gs at the Kika or Kika HD channel anymore if there is no crossepg database available. After downloading a new crossepg database, the problem returns and I get the annoying gs again.

So, I'm currently Googling around to figure out if anyone else had this problem and if there is a solution.

Created a maximum size swap partition and enabled it. Unfortunately it makes no difference. Same gs. To be honest I wasn't expecting this to solve the problem. Cause I can zap trough the entire list except (in my case) when I cross the channels Kika and Kika HD. Removing them of my channellist works also. After that I don't run into this problem anymore. However, I've got 3 kids in the house and they all like to watch this channel :)
Maybe there is anther epg system out there that's as good as crossepg? All do I haven't seen or found one around yet.
