HDD stop working on DUO2

Hi to everybody,
I have a DU02, I installed a HDD Seagate 1TB. After shutdown or 10 to 30 minutes it is not working (not able to record) and I have to install it again on device. My friend HDD capacity is 250Mb but he has same problem. Would anybody advice how can fix it?! I have the latest version of BH.

Have you mounted your HDD by Devices panel?

Yes I did. After any Shutdown or 10 to 30 minutes I have to do it again. I think there is problem or bug on BH. I attached a file from message that appear when I want to start recording. When I remount the HDD everything is fine. But when I leave it free for recording the problem occurs.

There is no bug in BH.
Try to format your HDD and then mount it again.

Hi, @aliesmaili, My receiver has no problem to recording. My Duo2 runs BH 2.0.8. 2 with a 2 T harddisk. It looks like your harddisk needs re- formating. I had some similar experience before.

Press menu>setup>system>hard drive>initialisation.... Press ok on your HDD then press red to initialise (format it). Then mount it as before using devices manager

@yummer, Thanks for your answer the question. An extra reminder for @aliesmaili is never use the PC to format the harddisk. and make one partion only (this will make the thing easier).

maybe it's a problem of installed plugins, you try to install again the BH

Today I Face Same Problem ... Cause I initialise 2TB Harddisk with BH
Black Hole Vu+ Duo2 2.1.0.1 and Its Done when i Poweroff my STB and ON It Agin Same Problem i change software to

• vuplus-image-vuduo2-20140604163109_usb.zip its working fine with that then agin i install back BH Soft and same problem in shot cut finally i got Solution for it ..
• Press menu>setup>system>hard drive>initialisation.... Press ok on your HDD then press red to initialise after that Dont Poweroff ur STB Make some channel Recording and then after that Power off and check its working .........

for Testing I Repeat That With My STB for me i Got that Best Sloution for IT .. Hope its Help U out
