Help Need To Mount Hdd,

hi,
i am trying to mount hdd on vu+duo after frsh installation of BH 1.7.2 image.The issue is when i mount hdd and try to set storage path for cross epg configration set up it show me 2 name of staorage apart of internal flash which i d,nt want to use for epg.

what i see on configration of crossepg is
staorage device= Harddisk, Hitachiat750....... , internal flash of box.
my hard disk is made by Hitachi company.
what i done so far is,
Open the file fstab with a linux-compatible editor (i used textpad).
fstab can be found in "/etc"

and it show me this detail
rootfs / auto defaults 1 1
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts mode=0620,gid=5 0 0
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs defaults 0 0
/dev/mtdblock2 /boot jffs2 ro 0 0
tmpfs /var tmpfs defaults 0 0
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs defaults 0 0
/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0


i did # the last line as #/dev/sda1 /media/hdd auto defaults 0 0

saved the file reboot the box and see if any thing change but no joy.

i have also tried to mount the usb stick wich is kigston data travel.
and after mount it also showing me 2 name. usb and data travell flash drive

as far i understand it should show after mount only in cross epg configration as

staorage device= internal flash, HardDisk, Usb Disk.

can some one tell me please what is the real way to mount and get 1 name?

Try in blue panel to use device manager and mount your hdd in media/hdd.
Then reboot.
After that if you go in crossepg and have 2 devices besides flash, choose one of them, they are the same.

ok, i have mount the HDD and USB together, USB formate is fat32, and now i got 4 name of starage apart of internal flash and as you said this is normal then thats ok ,will try if any up&down will report back.thanks
