Hi, just a general question. I am sure I will find out if I try but....
I believe the VU+ boxes (Solo2 for me) can record multiple channels, up to 8 it says, at the same time. Very impressive.
I know these have to be on the same transponder and vertical/horizontal setting as only two LNBs. I have this on my old Humax as, as an example, I can record BBC1 and Channel4 and watch BBC2 because BBC1 and 2 are on the same transponder. But if I try a channel on another transponder I have to stop watching.
All no problem.
My question is that I think from a previous question the LNB sequence may be important. I believe LNB-B is the main one and LNB-A is the one normally set to 'same as B'. I have these the other way round, B same as A.
Does this matter if both LNBs are connected.
I haven't had to record loads yet but would like to know if it matters before I get too far along, if it does I will reflash now just to make sure all is ok. I would rather do a 'clean' install now as I don't have anything I need to keep.
