How to manual update to Kodi 17?

is there a way to update to v17?
From the feed it doesn't update Kodi and it stays to the 16.1

OpenSpa has kodi 17, but don´t have images for UNO4K and ULTIMO4K.

I think the last is more important then have Kodi 17.

Is like to " put the cart before the horses ".

You"ll never will get kodi 17 on Black Hole Image, before Vuplus implementing it on original image.

I agree with you. I dont use Kodi myself at the moment I find the iptv player much faster and has constant updates. I was pointing out that there are other developers other than Vu that update addons.
Obviously The more boxes they make and support the harder to keep everything up to date.

Why can't it be implemented in BlackHole? This image is the best so far it it would be amazing.
i tried to install the existing ipk, but the dependencies are completly different (by forcing the install, Kodi is not launching after that).

I saw it but didn't understand your answer. You said that you can't have kodi 17 until it will be implemented into an official image. This is clearly not the case as many other images have it already (may be not for the 4k models). My question is the same and simple. How to update manually to kodi17 on a solo2 Bloackhole3 using other sources?

Blackhole is based on the official VU+ image.

When, or if, VU+ update their image, to include the latest Kodi, then Blackhole will be updated, at least that's how I understand the replies.
A lot of other images are Open source, which means they can be added to by numerous other programmers, which in one way is good, but sometimes leads to other problems.
If you need Kodi 17 please install an open source image, or wait until VU+ update their image.

There are more things to update and not only KODI by itself to get it working on a BlackHole image ( OE 3.0 Vuplus based image ).

Plugins to Kodi yoiu find in addons section .
Is possible install adons from zip file too.
IF you have repo addons install he too and you see next addons this way going alot developers who coding in kodi addons
