HOWTO program Vu+ universal RC to control TV

The remote control code for new generation STB´s must be "Mode 2".

HowTo assign it:

Remote control. The default system code is Mode 2.
  • Mode 1 : SOLO / DUO
  • Mode 2 : UNO ... and all the next generation VU+ Plus STB.
  • Mode 3 & 4 : reserved for future models.
§ - Press <<2 + 7>>, <HELP>, <0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004>

HowTo:

1. Press 2 and 7 for three seconds until LED is on.

2. Press HELP

3. Press <0001 or 0002 or 0003 or 0004>

Note: As i know you own a Duo2 and a Solo4k ... you must press "0002"
 
I realized that I was not precise in my question and it was misunderstood because I wrote "VU+ RCU code".
I should have written "the code to control TV Power ON/OFF and TV Volume.
I.E.: I programmed my first RCU with the automatic scan and now I'd like to find out the TV code to set up my 2nd RCU with the same without having to reprogram it.

That's why I mentioned I was not able to find the right one for my TV among the many, many ones found over the internet.
There are some universal remote controls which have a way to show the stored codes.

Cannot get into "set-up mode".

Nothing is happening ?

Tried with x new bataries.
Still nothing.

As per one of your posts, i noticed that you own a Vuplus Solo2. Is it true?

If so, you have to enter the 1628 ( manual code ), or:

0000 and make a manual scan by following the steps :

I also have a smart LG TV with webOS (65SK9500) and code 1628 works for me.

I have VU+ Duo2 decoder.

Hi,

I've been trying for several minutes to get my remote into programing state (flashing led) by pressing 1+3 or 2+7 simultaniously but no luck. Changed batteries. What am I doing wrong? I have VU+ Uno SE

Many, many thanks. This post saved my life (at least few hours of reinstalling the image and making from scratch the configuration).
I accidentally changed on the STB settings the RCU mode from 3 to 1, while playing with the tremendous options of configuration, because the volume keys were not working. Right after changed, the RCU didnt work and was unable to control the STB. Fortunately I found this post and following the above instructions, changed on the RCU to type 1, and voilá, everything working again. I have a Vu+Duo 2 which I left sleeping about 5 years ago for other reasons, and now recovered this fantastic machine. Many thanks again.
