I have reflashed my duo2 last night using BH 2.0.7.1 then online update to BH2.0.7.2. Everying seems fine (fresh flash without using any backup settings). However, when I try to update LCD4linux from 3.7.7 to 3.8.1, the updating failed. The lcd4linux plugin interface still shows 3.7.R? Also when I install munually iptvlistupdater1.30, the installation failed too. It does not show in the plugin list but it show at uninstall list. I can install TSmedia and D.B explorer without any problem.

Help please

Me too, I couldn't find yet a solution, but 3.7 works enough well, so I don't care too much and wait for the next version.

Thanks Eragon. I am waiting the next version. I can update before I flash my box. It seems the image's issue (I means the BH changed something, the plugins do not happy for the change). I have at least 2 plugins which cannot be installed but there is no problem when I use the old image. There are something I do not understan understand. When I try to install and un-install the plugins (LCD4linux and IPTVlistupdater), the screen generate an error message, but before I read it , it changes to next step. But I did see somthing 'not download'. Also when I open the \tmp\ folder of my receiver, there is a log file smb.log. when I open it and see several error reports. related to
'lib/account_pol.c:account_policy_get(286) account_policy_get: tdb_fetch_uint32 failed for field 1 (min password length), returning 0' '
'lib/account_pol.c:account_policy_get(286) account_policy_get: tdb_fetch_uint32 failed for field 4 (maximum password age), returning 0'

I do not know what they are, but look like the plugins are looking for lib file from somewhere, but the default password is not correct

Any suggestion. Have you tried the IPTVlistupdater 1.3?

If you've got something like this:

I think it has nothing to do with a failed installation.
The above is what I have just now in my /tmp folder, and I've not installed anything since many days.

LCD4linux probably fails to update cause of some permission restrictions somewhere, I didn't have the time to check , but none of the original files of the installed version are replaced or changed during the failed update.
Otherwise there could be an error in some of the scripts within the ipk installation file.

I've no experience with the other plugin.

Thank Eragon. I have got the same error.log as you posted. It is almost confirmed that the LCD4linux plugin is not very compitable with the new BH.2.0.7.2. Also I have tried to install the IPTVlistupdater 1.3 and the installation was failed. Do you have any idea to stop the installation when the error message posted on the screen? I did see a message but just shows about 2 seconds. If we can read the message, it would be easy for extra information.

My only possible suggestion is to check what is left in the /tmp folder before rebooting the GUI and look for something useful.
