MyGica T230 not recognized

yes man please send them in private I am very interested but I have vu + uno can this works for this decoder.

I'm sorry but it works on Linux 3.13 on Linux 3.9 no. I tried it on my duo. T230 is necessary for the new kernel.They checked for solo2 duo2 Solose- they work.solo Zero do not know

I have a vu+ solo se v2, with BH 3.0.1 and kernel 3.13.5. I think it is going to work. Thank you. I'll buy it and I'll post the result.

I was wrong. vu+ solo se v2, with BH 3.0.1, kernel 3.13.5: mygica t230 doesn't work. These are the messages I get when I plug in it:
Feb 4 19:48:01 vusolose user.info kernel: usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-brcm
Feb 4 19:48:01 vusolose user.err kernel: usb 2-1: string descriptor 0 malformed (err = -61), defaulting to 0x0409

However, if try it in a linux pc, it works perfectly. Of course, it is a drivers problem. Maybe in the following versions.

Tested on vu+ zero...not working at all. Only boot image is showing and after that black screne over 5 minutes. No telnet access, only ftp. Remote not working.

One thing more...if i removed my T230 usb stick then it boots up but no t230 stick support.

There is some time gone, so are there some more experiences with the drivers for Mygica T230 (not T230C) ?
Which is the right firmware for the tuner and the demod ? And does it work? With which image?
I need it for the solo2

I Have tested the image of solo2. The DVB-T2/C Tuner is shown in the Tuner Menu.
But if I want to scan with this tuner it is not possible to find anything

Please can you tell me, how to install (which) drivers for myGica T230 in actual BH image? What has to be done else then to put drivers into lib/firmware?
Scanning in your Solo2 image was not possible for DVB-C., because cable.xml is not available?

I tried several ways to scan. at least it was possible by manually scanning DVB-C and using the right QAM .( Unity media Germany 256 QAM)
Now the Mygica works.
Nicolasi`is blackhole image is special but it shows that it is possible to watch TV with T230.
So dear angelofsky1980 please merge the kernal that this stick is also working with normal Blackhole image to have always an actual images.
In different Linux foren there you can also find some solutions to receive DVB-T2 with HEVC.
This could be probably interesting for some owners of VU+4K tuners to use this cheap stick

Hi,

Are the patches available for the vusolo2. I've tried copying kernal modules from the image, but still get the string malformed error.

Appreciate any help here.

Hi all,

I Have a solo2, I buy a mygica t230 but it is exactly the new model t230c. The hardware is different than t230 and I haven't seen it before receiving.

Is there any information about that, I've installed the drivers from the feeds and this drivers also in lib/firmware:

  • dvb-demod-si2168-d60-01.fw
  • dvb-tuner-si2141-a10-01.fw
but I can't see it in tuner configuration.

If someone have a solution, it would be great.
