Need advice to install Media player 2

1) - one -> mapped as /media/usb
on /media/usb --> used for Open Multiboot; picons ...
2) - other -> mapped as /media/hdd
on /media/hdd --> for xbmc; movies... for recording you must create in it the folder <movie>.
Note: Reserve for this the bigger one USB pen Drive.
This probably will avoid confusing the medias.

No. I Have: (viewing the last picture : On Device Manager)
One 16 GB Lexar with 2 partitions: media/usb/Openmultiboot (8.388 GB) + media/hdd/.xbmc(7.629 GB)
and
One 16 GB San Disk Cruzer 1 partition: media/usb/movie (15.630 GB)

Hello
I have tested too many movies and tried to get the subtitles and seems that the subtitles are not matching The Movie that I am current watching..
I am attaching two pictures:
1) after push Audio button==>> search subtitles==>> push ok
2) some subtitles are downloaded after select one and play the Movie the subtitles are not matching with the movie..
Others observations : seems that the subtitles are from other Movies..
I have put on my picture example of : "Pixels" the Movie(2015) if you see the subtitles available said anothers Titles and dates... I dont know if this is Normal..
I have tried a lot Movies and differents selections of subtitles and now No results to find the Match point: Subtitles+ movie (english, and spanish)
How set correctly?
To cordinate Subtitle+ movie: is important to search the subtitle the firsts second of the movie?

You have to write there " Pixels ", you can enter the year too to refine your search.

You must know that are subtitles doesn´t match the movie .... must be synchronized ...
You must know that sources of movies are not fidedign.
You must know too, that sometimes there´s no subtitles for the languages we want.

*When you said write "pixels" and enter the "years" this means to write it on: "Update search Parameter" ? (my last Picture).. or where I need to write it?
*How I can synchronized the: subtitles+movie?

Probably I am not following very well the steps to get well my subtitles:
this is what I am doing: (obviously everything is already configurated)
Just play movie==>> push audio button==>> subsuport 1.5.3 is showed==>> search subtitles==>>Update search parameters is showed, "just click Ok"==>> subtitles list are downloaded==>>an then select subtitles

But I have one adress link stored on XBMC (gotham) : Video==>> files (with some Movies MPEG4).. I have also "PIXELS" but after select and put the information seems that subtitles are not downloading.
Question 1): I need to set anything on My Subtitles settings to get work on XBMC(gotham)==>>Video==>> Files ?
Question 2): What about If I Have One Movie on MPEG4 stored on my USB and I wish to Play through XBMC (gotham) could to set to get subtitles ?

1) No. You are using an external player ( Mediaplayer2 ), you don´t need to set subtitles size on XBMC for ex.

2) That depends of the name of the movie ... and if the subtitles exists or not for that media.

No ... you don´t need to set anything.
When you play a movie ... your default Mediaplayer on Xbmc is Mediaplayer2 ... you act with it on Xbmc as you act on Enigma2.
If all seted up for enigma2 ... is seted the same way for XBMC.

I am writing on this thread due the issue that I am seeing is related..
I have put New image 3.0.1 of my receiver (VU+solo SE) in Multiboot ..
I have Open black hole (flash) and some images including Black hole 3.0 in multiboot..
The imagen was instaled good and works but the XBMC (Running under 3.0.1 imagen) looks with the same issues (pictures on post#27) XBMC red screen and movies blue..Seems that probably I need to put the file that nunigaia attached on post #28.. I dont know..
I have tested Black hole 2.1.7 as multiboot set up (boot) but on this imagen the problem is not happening, just with Black hole 3.0.1
any Idea..

Try set up in:

MENU>SETUP>SYSTEM>AV SETTINGS>REFRESH RATE> 60MHZ

Probably you have 50MHZ or MULTI.

I an using openblackhole and installed mediapleyer2 and subsupport plugins latest versions.
I have an issue on play pause rewind and forward buttons.
The image always crashes.
Subtitles off, on doesnt matter.
Auto resolution on of doesnt matter.
I cannot find Amy crash log in HDD home dir.
 
Why do you use Mediaplayer2? Have you tried the normal system player, the one used, for instance, when you enter the recording list? It's able to browse your folders and devices and it's able to use subtitles the same way you do for live TV channels (long pressing the yellow button or pressing twice AUDIO).
I've never had the need of using Mediaplayer or Mediaplayer2 in my long VU+ life.
What kind of files give you this problem: recorded files, download files or IPTV streams? You did not provide any detail.
 
I am using mp2 because if I dont change srt encoding to UTF-8 it doesnt show turkish chars.
O need subsupport for this prob.
And mp2 supports subsupport.
The default mediaplayer crashes also.
But onlu on 2160ps

Try to look for "crash" at:

My image is up to date.
Enabled kodi from Speed Up.
It comes with mediaplayer2 as default for kodi.
How can I reverse it back to mediaplayer?

I can't understand why such a tool is so important and unavoidable. I've been using a VU+ with BH and OBH for years and never had the need of playing files with it.
In BH, where is difficult to browse device files and folders, there is the plugin EMC (Enhanced Media Center) where you can select one by one or all together the files within a folder (to select a file just use the same key used, by default, to enter REC LIST).

Indexing media, trailers, movie pilot cast vs.

1) - By default kodi is using the enigma2 player!

2) - You are not running the lastest Open BlackHole ( 4.3.026 ).
