No /.xbmc

Iv read post that some people have not got /xbmc in root?
I have FTP which iv set my folders open all inc hidden and still cant see anything in root,
only thing I see xbmc in are folders /share

Please help

in xbmc storage information im getting:
filesystem /dev/sda1
mounted on /media/hdd

you should look for /.xbmc under /media/hdd/ as it is stated in beta image post.

Yea I know but there is nothing there with showing all hidden folders

It must be at one of these

/.xbmc

/media/hdd/.xbmc

Paste them into address bar - You dont want to find it at the first one..

thanks for that but again nothing is there im getting
Command: CWD /.xbmc
Response: 550 Failed to change directory.
Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing

also the same with /media/hdd/.xbmc

its installed but were I don't know

Im not sure what that 'CWD' means but I use Filezilla via VUCC and find that pretty straight forward..

If its a usb you could stick into you PC youl see it (if its there) for definite that way

That wont open when i download it but if its xbmc.log then thats from /.xbmc/temp lol

Do you have a hdd or usb attached to your box? If yes, then try to re-flash without restoring your settings.

took a snapshot to show you there no /.xbmc folder also hidden folders is on,
so were is it?

Try FILEZILLA ftp program. Perhaps it will show you the folder (thats what i am using).

ok iv sorted it out now, what i did was did a hard reset and /.xbmc shown up
