Problem on finding satellite on diseq a/b/c/d whit 2 dishes

Vu+ Newbie
Hello to everyone,
First of all, i want to thank everyone for contributing in this forum. It's a big help for newbies like me ;-)
Now, I have 2 dishes:
1. With 3 lnb's: 13.0, 16.0, and 19.2
2. With Thor 0.8
On Cloud ibox 3 it works great (with a small delay on first channel open for thor) but it works. Now, on my fresh new Vu+ Duo2, I am trying to scan for channels on Thor and it want find any. I have tried to upload the list from the Clou Ibox 3, and the chanels from Thor are not displayed (are noted as N/A).
Would someone help me on this issue, Please?
Also, if exists any way to combine 2 lists from Vhannibal, will be great too, since they don;t have such a configuration i Need.
Thank you, and waiting for a reply.

UPDATE
On Satfinder option on the menu, when i put a transponder details, it locks. When i search for channels, it want find any :-(

Are you sure you have the Tuners set up correctly?
You can have more than one satellite, with similar transponder details, so you might get a lock, even though you're not getting 0.8W.
Try running a cable, directly from the 0.8W LNB, to your receiver, then set the tuner up as simple, single, 0.8W, and see if you can manually scan in a few channels:
Code:
http://www.lyngsat.com/Thor-5-6-7-and-Intelsat-10-02.html

If you can then try your cable in a different port, of the Diseqc switch.
How have you got the Tuner set up?

Hello,
It seems that the tunner is configured correctly since the other 3 lnb's/sattelite's are working perfectly. Does it matter that this lnb is in another dish and the cable from the lnb to the diseqc is about 5-7meters?
Ishould try the way you suggest but i have the dishes in the top of the building and it takes some time. Probably i'll try tomorrow.
What is intersting, is the fact that in my old Cloud iBox 3, it works somehow well. I said somehow since it takes up to 15-20sec to lock that satellite, but once it locks, it works ok.
Thank you!

It doesn't matter where the LNB is, providing the cable run isn't too long, and 5-7 metres is a short cable run.
Can you recall what the signal quality readings were, when it was working on your other receiver?
There are only certain things, that can be wrong:
1. The LNB has failed, or failing.
2. There is a problem with the cable, or connections.
3. The dish isn't aligned correctly, thus providing no signal, or to low a signal quality, for the receiver to lock on.
4. The Diseqc switch is failing, or faulty, which you can check by switching the connections round.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply and trying to help me on this issue. I have just reminded that this LNB is not a simple LNB but it's a dual LNB (that kind of LNB that is for 2 satellites / 2 LNB's in one) that is used just for this satellite. I'm suposing that this kind of dual LNB probably has a diseqc (or something like that) implemented, that interferes with the other diseqc where are connected the 3 other LNB's.
Can this be a cause? Probably i should change that LNB; to replace it with a standard one.
Thank you!

Do you mean a monoblock LNB?

If so which other satellite is it pointing at?
You might have to use the advanced options, in the Tuner setup, to configure your LNB's, and try to get it working.

Exactly is this one. Just one of them is used since for Thor the LNB should turn/rotate somehow. Anyway, it's used just for Thor 0.8W.
I will try to configure it in Advanced mode and let you know.
Thank you!
