Duo2 problem with a kind of foggy front panel

Duo2: we noted a problem with a kind of foggy front panel, due to a factory/production fault, whereby it leads to reduced visibitlty/transparenc - quite irritating...

Sat Shop is willing to replace the faulty product but one is left wondering, since the effect is not present in all the series of the Duo2 line, which series has the fault, starting from which date of production, please?

Also, what is the manufacturer's attitude towards it, will they admit to a partially faulty line of pruducts and how will they make it right?

As I could see, there is nothing wrong with your VFD display.
Vu+ chose this slightly "foggy" appearance of the Duo2 display, we don't know why, but surely it's the same for all our boxes.

It's not a fault nor a error, it's so "by design"...

Here is all right for a person who can not see well or do not want to see. It would be better to fully LIABLE TO to take responsibility and try to solve the problem. It would be fair to warn customers on an error. Who do not mind the factory fault let him buy the product. And customers who are bothered by this error should not buy a reciver with factory mistake as much as it is for someone fault was small.
