problem with vu+ duo and my (Home Theater)

hello​
I have a (HT 904 LG) Home Theater, it has a HDMI IN & HDMI OUT ports​

I connected my vu+ duo to the hometheater reciever via HDMI port and then connected the hometheater receiver to my TV via HDMI port​
​
the problem​
there is no picture on the TV screen !​
I can hear the voice coming out from the speakers but can't see any picture​
​
what may be the problem ?​
​
I should say that the home theater works fine with my ps3.​

Have you choosen the right HDMI IN port on HT system ?
 
Yes
the home theater works fine with the ps3 and shows both picture and sound
but with the Vu+ Duo only sound.

I don't think the cable has any thing to do with this problem... cause i'm connecting the vu+ duo via the HDMI cable to the TV direcltely and it's working Ok
and the hometheater receiver is also connected to the tv directly via it's HDMI cable and working fine too

so it's really strange .. the tow devices works fine when they are connected to the TV directly
and don't work when they are connected together

do know any one who's connecting his vu+ duo to a hometheater using the HDMI cable and can see the picture on the TV ?
 
hello, i have not an a/v amplifier with hdmi in so i cannot say nothing about the vu+ hdmi out vs amplifier
but i connected some av amplifier to some hdmi source for friends in the past
and sometimes i had that kind of probs

in that case i solved in 2 minutes using another audio out from sources to a/v and hdmi direct to the tv ;)

ok is not a real solution but that prob looked really as random (mixing amplifier and devices the results was not the same)

i did something similar to that, connected the vu+ to the tv directly to get the hd picture
and connected the vu+ to the amplifier using the optical port to get the 5.1 sound

that will make you hear a good sound and see a good picture

but will not explain why the hdmi in in your home theater didn't work with the vu+

I emailed LG and thy told my the home theater receiver cann't be connected to a dvb receiver
