remote control reset?

Vu+ Newbie
Hi i tried updating my Vu + Zero box yesterday it was taking forever so in the middle of it i turned it of , now when i turn the box on it boots up but does not display anything on the tv . Is there any buttons on the remote i could hold to reset the HDMI setting or something else? cheers
 
Did you update by using the online update, or by flashing an image?
You could try connecting to your receiver using your PC, with Filezilla, and try to undo the update, or re-flash your receiver, and set it up again.
Do you have a backup?

It was freezing all the time i seen 'search for update' on the box and i done that via remote it displayed an update screen for over an hour so i switched it of and on , the box starts up but its not going through HDMI , ill try connect via filezilla here . have you got a link to the folders so i can re-flash if that fails?
