Rewinding Media Files <</>>

Hello,

I've been running BH 1.7.3 for several months now and very impressed with it.
There is just one small problem I'd like to resolve.

Can any one explain how to Fast Forward/Rewind recorded TS files on the HDD?
I am unable to FF/FW greater than x8. Beyond that point everything freezes.
This happens during normal play-back and also when using the Cut Editor.

I have looked in the Customize/Expert menu. Near the bottom of the menu there is a list of max speeds, but there seems no way to select anything. One wonders what this menu function actually does, if anything at all.

Any thoughts on this gratefully received.

Regards to all

Check the your Fast forward speeds @ customize settings:-

Menu>Setup>System> Customize (do as follow):-

Move the arrow left to the OK (button) extra speed should show with a bracket ()..like (6) for example...!
Now go to the upper arrows (at top of colored button) push the right button , the bracket will go away,,,,!
Press OK...the speed U picked will be there!,,,,,save (Green OK)!

have fun w/BH

Hello a911, thank you for your response,

I know how to set the max FF/RW speed OK.
However that is not my problem. If I set max FF to x16 it freezes above x8.
It seems that FF/RW only work if the start of the file has not been trimmed using the Cut Editor
I alrays start record 2 minutes before EPG start time. Then I cut out the publicity at the start of the recording with Cut Editor.
If you do that then the FF/RW do not seem to function

It's not a big fault - BH is still a superb image on the VU+
