Hi

This is a link to a forum thread were a user Ambrosa has recieved Realtek linux drivers and have ported the drivers to kernel 3.x.x.
http://openpli.org/forums/topic/20899-rtl2832u-chipset-support-proposal/

I have this device
http://www.dexatek.com/DK SPEC/DVB-C+T.pdf
Which uses the RTL2832 chip to recieve DVB-T. It also has the RTL2840 chip which interfaces with the RTL2832 to recieve DVB-C.

I mostly have a need for DVB-C, but since i can also recieve DVB-T i am ready to fulfill any testing needs if wanted.

I've been seen the thread into Pli Board you mention but me and my colleague Admin who works around drivers have different implementation idea about Realtek drivers.
One possibility is the usage of Realtek developed drivers and another try is to use a full OSS driver in development by LinuxTV.org .....

I have followed the development of drivers for RTL2832 and RTL2840 for the last year. There have been some progress with OSS for RTL2832 but i havent seen anyone developing for RTL2840. I am just a random newb so i am sure you guys know better what to do :)

Since i already have the tuner i am ready to do some tests if the need arises.
