I bought 2 of this same, one in China, one in Honk Kong, the one i bought in China works fine, tested on, Solo, Solo Se, Solo 2, the one bought in Honk Kong works ok with Solo, but not work well with Solo Se, and Solo 2, i did lot of tests but could not make work 100%, what i do to work is, i have to install or uninstall plug in Reboot in order for the USB to come to live, otherwise the channels go missing, it says check tuner configuration, what strange with this is, they are 100% same, i could not see any difference with them, if some one has any advise please let me know, thanks!!!

There seems to be problem with DVB-T-T2 USB in General, as seller i have tested lot of them but none is Perfect, been told that best USB for Vu+ is Sundtek, but little expensive, not tested one yet, now we see that Vu+ are making their own USB DVB-T2 called Vu+ Turbo, not available yet, they are little espensive is well, but let hope that they will be perfect and work 100%, with all Vu+ products???

It's your opinion that USB DVB devices are not perfect. The 12 I've in my home have passed support check. 10 of them don't shown problems during long-time tests.

When i say Perfect, I mean Perfect, they may work yes, but the signal is not as good as DVB-T Tuner of TV, I have 2 Sony TV with DVB-T and T2 Tuners, but Signal not the same better Signal on TV, i have tested lot of Combo Receivers, and Signal is better then USB, what i have find is well is the Expensive ones has better Signal then the cheap ones, for example the PCTV Nano Stick 290e, has the best signal from the ones i tried, Chinese cheap made USB like the one above Signal is very bad, so what i will call perfect my friend, will have the same capabilities as TV Tuner, you may say that never will be possible, but Sundtek been told about this is nearly there, for support and all the rest, and i hope that Vu+ Turbo DVB-T2 USB will be nearly, or hopefully Perfect!!!!

You can't compare USB DVB-T tuners with a fully TV set. I've already explained WHY!
TV sets have a lot of electronical stuffs to manage DVB-T signals .... do you see the size of a USB DVB-T dongle? It's impossible that a USB device can handle with the same precision of a TV set.

True, I know that, but it can be as nearly as good as the TV Tuner, with the technology improving, things are getting smaller and smaller, and all so are lot of problems with DVB-T USB on Enigma 2 at the moment, some work on some receivers, some do not, some work with some images and some not, and on ................. and on, i can go with this for long time, but is not worth, Only Sundtek Support there USB on Enigma 2 100%, and most of the Retailers now advise to buy Sundtek for Enigma 2, on all Images and most of the Enigma 2 Boxes, let say like this, near Perfection????

You can use what you want on your box, included the Sundtek device (that uses a user-level driver that is VERY different from current DVB USB device support in almost every Linux STB that is in KERNEL-LEVEL).
I use regularly (1 or 2 time per day) my DVB-T USB device in SoloSE and works regularly. Some channels pixelated but the reason is the antenna TV system that needs maintenance and re-orientation. With PCTV 290e and PCTV 74e the pixelation problem disappear ... so there are devices better than others ... but this is the normality :)
With latest BH, my RTL2832U device works better than before ... now tunes (and shows) correctly 200+ channels ... previously was 50- .... with a portable antenna ....

RTL2832U mine is Chinese is not working at all on Blackhole 2.1.4, maybe yours is working, there are to many version of this USB, works OK with Version 2.1.3, the tests i have done are on same cables, antena, etc, the point with Sundtek is the best for the moment, i did not have the chance to buy and test this USB, because is little expensive, i will wait for the Vu+ Turbo USB to test one, you can see here, Read what the Retailer says:
Code:
http://www.satshop.fi/sundtek-mediatv-digital-home-dvb-t2-c-usb.html?___store=default&___from_store=fi

and athe people that make VIX Images they have this shop advise for this USB here:
Code:
http://www.world-of-satellite.co.uk/USB-Digital-Tuners/Sundtek-MediaTV-Digital-Home-USB-Tuner-Cable-Terrestrial-HD-DVB-C-T-T2

Why i think Sundtek is the best, is because of reading in many other forums, i do not work for them, i am just honest, you should buy and test this USB, and let as know if possible!!!!!
