sold clone as genuine need proof for refund

I am pretty new to the vu seen and was very excited in getting my box . I did alot of shopping around because prices varied alot, so i checked ebay and found a new vu duo with 2 years warrenty and advertised as genuine and priced at £310 including shipping. I recieved the box and long behold there was a sticker on top saying download software from vuplushd.tv I knew then it was a clone from doing my research before I got the box to watch for this. The seller budgetmotors5000 is deregistered from ebay and now Ebay want me to send the box back to him but is'nt it illegal to send counterfeit items by courier/post so they now want proof that the box is counterfeit. I also reported him to VUplus.
Where and how do I prove the box is counterfeit all I know genuine boxes dont have a sticker on them linking you to clone box software.

Perhaps you should post some photos of the packaging and closeup shots of the receiver from all angles so we can take a look and have it on the board for reference.

Make official complain to e-bay (make a noise) , they are 100% responsible!

Ok. Going to get a few pictures up for you lads to have a look at but first, I spoke to ebay and they will only refund me my money if I send the unit back to the seller, I couldnt believe it and I refused so they asked me for proof as I said earlier in previous post, I sent them pictures of the sticker on the box and the url site to which these boxes need software from but still that is not good enough, and they have now said I must send the unit back to the seller to get a refund, so basically I am giving back a counterfeit product back to a counterfeit seller to sell again. WHAT A JOKE !!!!
I am happy to get this box destroyed and documented for ebay but they wont give me a refund.
I beleive he is now selling VU DUO's and Solo's under a different name on ebay (amoutou) and have reported this to ebay but nothing was done about this either, it is like Ebay dont care as long as they get there cut. Starting to get really F****** off now.

Sorry to say but for me, that's definitely a clone. I'm after inspecting my power supply often enough at this stage and it's the first thing I noticed. Those red & black wires connecting to the ON/OFF switch are black & white (maybe all white) on mine. And your SATA cable is really long also. Mine is around half the length so as not to clutter the insides.

But ultimately, this sticker warning you to download from somewhere other than the official site is enough.

Contact ebay USA (head office),,,and keep at it...tell them that you will make official complain and may sue them for selling clones/counterfeit items ,,,,and post your complain at Facebook/Twitter and Consumer Union ,,,( make-a-noise... )....etc!
They will care, I"ve got experiences.... !
