Solo2 in constant starting loop

Hi i´ve got a new Solo2 an tried to flash a nfi File with vu-util_v2.0.1. . After 20% the Programm stuck .
After reseting the Box there was the Message HW error on the Dispplay.

Then i tried to flash a Blackhole image via USB. The flashing works fine, but after the reset i see short the Blackhole screen than black. On the Box screen constant starting, after ca 5min the resets and start again.

i saw that Post here in this Forum


Switch the box off, on the rear side.
choose in putty for serial connect, speed must be set to 115200 and choose you`re comport.
Put the box on, when you`re connection is oke, you wil see some text scrolling over the putty screen.
Now use the ctrl + c key to stop the booting.
copy the following line in the screen:

boot -z -elf flash0.kernel: 'rootfstype=jffs2 root=/dev/mtdblock0 rw mem=0x8000000 bcmrac=3`

The box now reboot from the flash, so watch you`re box.
Then open telnet with dcc and put in the following line.

flash_eraseall /dev/mtd5

and after that the following line

reboot -f

Then you`re box is running again.

I tried to get a connection over serial but there is nothing to see at all.

Post here the serial output of your box during boot process please.

I have tried with Putty and usb to serial with Baud 115200. unfortunately no output. The adapter works fine with another Device.

Today i tried my PC at work, and i have a Serial connection. this the output from the startup.

You are using a VTI image and it's quite old (30/06/2013).
Update your box (via USB flash process, not via Vu+Util) and you should solve your problems. You have also a lot of bad blocks on your flash and the box try to recover them.

Seems all correct and the flash goes OK.
If your box doesen't start up correctly, remove your HDD and retry .... if this check doesen't work, ask for warranty to your reseller because your box has some hardware problems.
