Solo2 Ir Extender

I just wanted to ask about the location of the Ir sensor of the solo2. I have a composite to lan cable which goes from the box in the main room to the bedroom. It works fine with my old Redline TS3000 box but when I swapped it with the solo2 I couldn't make it work. Im not sure of the location of the Ir sensor on the solo2 so if someone could tell me that then that would be great. Also does anyone know of any good hdmi to lan cables with Ir extender?

Anyone???? I have tried moving the extender all over the front of the solo2 with no success. Help would be much appreciated.
 
If it's anything like the Solo2-4k, it's right between the display and the multi circle inidicator.
55mm measured from the center of the multi circle and 30mm from the bottom of box, the exact same hight as the multi circles center.
