ssd hard drive

fited the samsong ssd 2.5 hard drive all went well it will not record what menu do I have to go to to get it working regards simon

You must create under /media/hdd a folder named <movie> ---> it will look like this - trace root:

/media/hdd/movie

don´t forget to change attributes of the folder to 755.

Note: Use a FTP program like --> DCC
 
Vu+ Duo2 - I tried several times to mount a Samsung SSD HD of 500GB with BH menu but all times appears error green screen and after the decoder reboot.
I tried also to mount the HD with ******* and it worked but the free space that appears is only 50MB.

Please help me.

Hi,
SSD ATA(KINGSTON SV300S3) works fine on my Vu Duo2 !
It's was mounted normally with device manager.
If your are not looking the price ssd will bring only silence as add value in comaraison of HDD.

I've seen what's on the market near me and the dimensions are:
60, 120, 240 and 480 GB.
Which dimension is your HD?

I have Vu+ Duo2 BlackHole 2.1.7 with Samsung SSD 850 512 GB.
The HD is completely empty but the system tells me that I have only 1MB free.

Maybe it's the version 2.1.7 that gives me these problems?

It's the first time that I install a SSD HD than I have no feedback about this problem.
 
Hi,
Just format your SSD with the BH formating tool and mount it via device manager
Please check if there is not more than one partition in ssd

I have a feeling you have not update image skin.
You have default skin and orginal BH 2.1.7 not updated ??
Update skin with download manager (green>>yellow>>addons download manager>>skins>> skin default from image server and try agn.

I purchased another HD but this time not SSD and also in this case it doen't work.

I'll try your advice and that of Matrix10 too.
