Tuner Server via MiniDLNA to stream to TV ?

Vu+ Newbie
Hi,

I have read a lot about tuner server feature/plugin, and I know that in the first release it was not compatible with DLNA implemented by TV Systems (it worked with PCs, another Vu+, PS3... but not with TV systems).

In the release notes of BH 1.7.5 I read that now it has a miniDLNA server which is more up to date than Mediatomb, and it is compatible with many TV systems...

So, is it possible to implement a tuner server via MiniDLNA to stream directly to a TV? Or the tuner server feature only works through Mediatomb?

I think about buying another TV for a room in which Vu+ is not present, and try to find the easiest way (and cheapest way LOL) to watch the Vu+ channels on it.

Thanks in advance.

Tuner server is only for mediatomb.

Tuner server is only for mediatomb.
Thanks for the answer, Tamaki. Then I guess it is difficult to stream directly to another TV from the tuner, unless anybody knows some TV model that supports playlists through DLNA...

Another option is to buy some device which supports NFS mounting and it is not very expensive (if it costs 200 EUR or more, I would prefer buying another Vu+ instead...). Any suggestions?
