Unicode Support / EPG

Hello ppl,

I have trouble with Unicode font and EPG.

Where to place the font with Georgian support? Sylafaen.ttf for example.
With WI of my Dou2 I can read EPG correctly.

added sylfaen.ttf to /usr/share/fonts but EPG is still not visible

It's not a simple thing to do and it's not enough to add a font that support your language.
It's a skin's font matter and you need to modify some strings of the file skin.xml so that the font you added can be used.
Maybe @Matrix10 could help you to solve your problem.

You can try to rename sylfaen.ttf in to tiny.ttf ( /usr/share/fonts)
before backing up original tiny.ttf font.
Is that going to help I do not know.
EPG is a separate issue and not only related to the skin font.

renamed sylfaen.ttf into tiny.ttf, it works, but now regular font looks so ugly
