Is no way update by telnet .
Kodi mast be update by VU+ and next add to BH.

As you have been told, Kodi is part of the image, you can't just update it, until the developers update it.
If you want Kodi v17.3 use open Blackhole, which already has Kodi v17.3 installed, or wait until the software developers update Blackhole to Kodi v17.3.
