Upgrade to new BH 2.0.9

Hello everyone
I bought my original VU solo about a year ago (maybe less) and flashed it with BH 2.0.2 (Rev D now)
Now I want to upgrade to 2.0.9 and a little bit confused regarding the bootloader issue
My question is when is the bootloader upgrade needed ? Is it only when upgrading from old versions prior to 2.0.* ?

I have also installed BH 2.0.2 D on meoboot, can I update image installed on meoboot or I need just pull out USB stick and install newe image?
 
Hi Guys. Im new here and first time im updating my VU. Can someone guide me through the process to USB flash?

I flashed my Vu+solo with BH 2.0.2 D after I quit using meoboot, then I try update to latest BH 2.0.9 ; after restart no video from receiver nothing ( stable green light ) change USB stick no go;
same USB stick trying flashing 2.0.8 same problem and 2.0.7 and 2.0.6
2.0.5 work, finally I have BH image working on my Solo but 2.0.2 D give me better picture quality (what ever it is working), so I use online update option ; all looks good during update got message is done version 2.0.8 after restarting no picture from receiver ( green light) went back to 2.0.5 watching tv
NOW how to made latest BH 2.0.9 working on my receiver?????
if I am able to flash box with 2.0.5 and all is working it is mean ( I think ) bootloader is ok
Any advise ?? Help please
 
Hi guys. Sadly having problems with my upgrade. After going through the process trying different USB, each time i end up with green light flashing supposedly showing that the flash is ready. i disconnect usb and reboot and get green light for about 10 seconds then red flashes for 20 seconds and again green for 10 seconds. I never get a picture on the screen. What am i doing wrong?

What image do you have previously on your box?
