First of all you are doing some thing wrong.
The installation of firmware file is correct but not the rest of the post because is related to SOURCE files and not the kernel objects compiled for Linux boxes.
Plug your device and send the command

Code:
dmesg

at the end of the long output you should see something related to DVB subsystem: post it here. Your device should be already supported by BH 1.7.9 series.

I have a new vu + uno. I'm sure the tuner is not working properly. I think it has frequencies that do not. I'd really like to run the second tuner for show and prove.

Into your system there is no firmware file for your stick...

Code:
drxk: Could not load firmware file dvb-demod-drxk-pctv.fw.

Obtain it and place into /lib/firmware folder and reboot your box ....

Or you can install the attached package:
1. upload into /tmp folder for your box
2. use the Manual install BH Package into the image (green->yellow buttons) to install it.
3. remember to reboot yoru box!

It's strange.
If into /proc/bus/nim_sockets file the tuner is present, Enigma2 should use it.
Have you made online update?
