Vu Duo channels

have just got vu duo and have installed lastest version of blackhole, i downloaded settings O\k. What I want to know is there away of editing or removing channels from the lists through remote control as I do not seem to be able to find it. If not how do you do it. Also how do you set up epg, do you have to download anything. This is my first linux receiver and there appears to be a lot to learn.

i was hoping for a bit more respone then what i have received, i have looked through variouse sections but cannot find what i asked about. i was hoping that by joining this forum i would get some help in setting the receiver up.

You can editing or removing channels from the lists through remote control in this way:
- open the channel list by pressing the up or down arrow button;
- select the channel you want to move, to add or to delete;
- then, by pressing the Menu button, you will be showed the options you are searching for.

Regarding the EPG setup, mainly you have to choice were to save the epg.dat file.
You should choice to save it on /hdd (if you mounted an hdd) or on /media/usb (if you attached an usb stick to the Duo).
Then you can choice to enable the OpenTv EPG Loader or to download the EPG by internet, it depends by your needs.

Thanks for that aka , I have tryed doing as you say and press menu button and I get 3 options add to bouquet , open picture in picture or back . Cannot see way to delate.

Enable first "Expert" into Menu->Setup->System->Customize

You can delete only channels you have in your favourites list, not the channel you can find in All channels list.
To delete them, you have to use, on your PC, a settings editor software like DreamBoxEdit.

O\K so can you tell me how to load channel list into dreambox edit and then return to duo.
