I'm sorry for you. I think you have upgraded it with new BootLoader CFE 3.0.
This is start of Trouble.I think this bootloader have a bug that case many many problems in Vu plus Boxes.
The Manufacturer must be answer this !

What??? Are you kidding?
A lighting can do some damages and the one affected the Vu+ box is clear: dead part of the flash memory.
CFE is the BIOS of the box.
DON'T SPAM PLEASE!
