Vu+ Duo media player

Hmm, angelofsky1980 I see that you are the driver coder for vu plus. Can you tell us whether or not you are working on the bugs, which were mentioned earlier ??

It is problems in watching movies encoded in:
- mkv format (DTS problem - sound is breaking)
- divx format (movies are not fluid)

Very big part community of users VU+ DUO is tired of this problems.

I answer some questions

angelofsky1980 is one of the coders in BlackHole team and not VU plus
coder.
Problem with the Media exists more or less at all Enigma2 boxes.

Media will never work 100% on this generation of processors
and software.
They are not made ​​with these priorities, but with SAT TV priority.
Today Mediaplayer Box of 100 euros can play more and better.

Of course it is probably possible to do better,
and to play even more with the boxes
but never as with real media processors.
In addition there is also the issue of licenses.
How am I informed VU is working on the problem of DTS.
In my opinion,
these posts on forums asking much more than what is realistically possible
with Enigma 2.

As reported by Matrix10, I'm a coder of BH Team :)
I know that MKV with DTS audo track can have some audio problems but depends by files and audio track bitrate. I've tested the same MKV file with 2 Enigma2 based boxes (Vu+Duo and ET9000) and the audio issue is present in the 2 boxes. I remember you that ET9000 use a fast BCM CPU and the Duo use an "old" CPU.

DivX issue is a driver problem and should be fixed by VuPlus directly: we have already sent infos regarding this issue and when we have a response we report it.

Yes, for know we all have to wait, the issue has been reported to vu+.
For the moment vu+ is working hard for release of new models, i'm sure they will try to fix this issue ASAP.
