my vu+ duo2 is only 3 months old and i am new to this. could anyone please advise me on what to do

Do you have a problem with all frequencies, on Hotbird 13E, or just some?
Can you please post your general location, dish size, and setup, motorized dish, fixed dish with single LNB, fixed dish with several LNB's and Diseqc switch, etc..

thank you Mick1234.
the problem is with most frequencies on hotbird but astra 19 & 28 are ok. location birmingham uk, dish 1.2 motorized with one single LNB.

sorry i have been calling it turner when i meant card. i have a twin turner card and my problem is how to configure it after moving it to the next slot of the motherboard.

If you have two DVB-S2 tuner cards then you have 4 Tuners, A, B, C and D.
You should have no problem getting 13E, providing your satellite dish is tracking the satellite arc correctly, and you have entered your correct Latitude, and Longitude, if using Usals, to drive your motor.
Remember negative Longitude readings = West, positive = East.
I doubt you need to move your Tuner card to a different slot.
Please post back with a few channels, from both 28.2E, and 19.2E, along with their signal quality readings, and more details regarding how you've set up your motor.
