Vu+duo2 internal wifi card not working

Hello

WiFi internal card on vuduo2 does not working. Under network settings I can only find LAN connection. WLAN is not there anymore.
So.....i am not sure if WLAN is death. .....maybe there is some option to reset box or WLAN module? Does enyone have the same problem? Could You please help me to solve this problem?
BOX is under warranty......but i dont like to send box to repair. Is there a possibility to check box hardware at home?
I can buy usb wifi stick. But ...i dont know if it is better to send box to repair? I will be without the box for a 1 month. I would rather buy a usb stick. Or i can use only LAN.
What would You recomend? :)

Wifi configuration must be done via dedicated menu entry. I don't remember the name but it's the last of Menu - Setup - System panel.
Into Network config panel there is only the wired LAN configuration.
 
I have both options, on my VU+ Duo 2, in the Menu, Setup, System, Network, WLAN, and LAN, even though I never set up the WLAN option.
You could try backing up your settings, using your software options, and even back up your channel list, using dreamboxedit, then load the original image, from VU+ website, and see if you get the WLAN configuration option, during loading.

Wifi is not there anymore. It is completly out of the game.:(
My question would be...... should I expect other problems with my vu+duo2 because wifi modul is dead.?
I connected box directly to the router with LAN cable. I dont need wifi anymore.
But my friend told me that I can expect other problems with my box because this problem can have influence to other components.
Is this True? ???

If you don't see the dedicated item into Menu - Setup - System to configure wifi the wifi card is not detected.
I suggest to ask warranty action to repair it.
 
I am aware that I could fix it VU+duo2 for free in service.
But, at the moment, I have no plans to send my device for a service.
I'm just wondering if it is possible to expect some problems in relation to other components on my Vu+duo2.?
So, one circuit is failed, whether it will have an impact on other circuits?
I do not need WIFI, (slow connection), it will serve me better a LAN cable. (1000Mbitps).
I just want to know that my box will work fine without failed wifi module.?
