Hard drives are available in 2.5", and 3.5".
The 3.5" versions are more for tower PC's, for the room, the 2.5" are for laptops, etc..

My Duo2 can take both options, 3.5", & 2.5", but your Solo 4K was designed for the 2.5" version.
You can find all the relevant information on the vuplkus website:

Thank you for answering guys but I mean more than the capacity the thickness of the drive. Vu+ Solo 4K has a detachable slot on the back on which you can mount the 2.5 HDD, problem is that they come in 7mm or 15mm thickness.
My question is: they can fit both on the lot?

Thanks

Thank you Mick but on their website there are no mention about capacity and most of all thickness of the HDD.

I don't even found any email or page for technical support, just vendors enquiry.

According SOLO4K Manual the maximum thickness size is 9mm so ... 9,5 or 12,5mm are not recommended.

Note: The maximum capacity you can buy for example "Western Digital HDD" ... the bue mobile series or the SSD one is 2TB.
