Make attention to the firmware ( image ) you intend to put in your STB ... For SOLO SE V2, the firmware is not " SOLO FIRMWARE ", but " SOLO SE FIRMWARE ", or you can brick your STB.

Guy i want some help i am upgrade the vu+solo and when he upgrade hes stop on red collor and he didnt show me any picture or voice i need help pls for information my device is chinese made in china he is not a native.

First of all, next time, don´t write only in " Capital Letters ", because it's hard to read it.

So, you are admiting that you own a clone Vuplus STB, unfortunately we don´t give support for clones.

I have solo with BH 1.7.8.
I tried putting the files under usb folder: /vuplus/solo/[files]
Nothing happens wit leds.
When I power off and on again, it powers on regularly.
No update is done and not led blinking.
Same for the vu firmware from vuplus web site.
fat32 of course...
What do I miss here?

i have trouble with stb vu plus solo HD
i cannot install firmware above 2.1 ( openpli neither black hole)

When i flash with openpli 2.1 , i cannot play any channel as loaded correctly my iptv playlist.

can anyone help me ?

You may be told me to do that to know if this stb is clone or original , i think original but not sure... i heard that clone do not accept blackhole firmware upper than 2.0....

May you give me solution... i already gived up the fight ... :(

It seems to me that your STB is original.

Flash your STB first with bootloader cfe 2.0 .

Check the first post on this section, you have there the information needed to flash the bootloader. --> http://www.vuplus-community.net/board/threads/vu-solo-boot-loader-updgrade.4358/

Note: Don´t forget to remove all your USB devices attached to your STB, before proceed the flashing procedure. ( this includes: Usb Pen Drives, Usb Tuners, Usb HDD ... etc ).

After flashing the new CFE 2.0 bootloader, try reflash your STB with a new image ( more recent one ):

  • BlackHole 3.0.5A
  • Open BlackHole 4.1.018

hy,
i already tried several image (original) , but no success. it seem that the device do not accept firmware over vers 3 ( openpli 3 , bh 3.....) i cannot install fir exemple openpli 4 . openatv 5.1


any idea ?

now i am on openpli 3. cannot upgrade ....
