Vu+ SOLO Boot Loader Updgrade

Unfortunately, I can't upgrade my VU+ Solo as it does not recognise the DiskOnKey inserted into front or rear USB socket (FAT32). I put some MP3 and MP4 files on DOK, and when I go to MENU-MEDIA PLAYER it shows only Internal Flash.
Any suggestions? Can you help? What's wrong?

Try with USB port on the back and with ONLY the USB disk with CFE update connected.

Just would like to precise something for people reading this:
when the LED is continuously blinking green, it means the process went fine and it's time to unplug the usb, reload it with the image and reset the receiver.

I am a newbie too and have a vu+solo I tried to do a factory reset and since then only get a black screen. I have followed the advice in this thread with the bootloader install from usb, delete that file and put latest image 2.0.9.1 and it seems it upgrades goes to red light back to blue and then blue flashes but I still get a black screen the Tv picks a signal from the Vu+solo but doesn't display anything I have tried reset button etc and installed a few times

is there something else I can do It seems I cant get it to boot up no display at all I think its the stb ??

try to flash with an other usb

The main difference from the old one is supporting the large size image more than 48MB.

Please see the detailed explanation of update as below.
  1. Unzip the solo_cfe_2.0_usb.zip to USB stick. (There should be /vuplus/solo/cfe_cfe_auto.bin)
  2. Insert USB stick into the USB port of solo and power on the box.
  3. It takes just a few secs to update.
  4. If solo's front led blinks continuously, restart box.
  5. To proceed with image update, you should delete the cfe_cfe_auto.bin at /vuplus/solo in USB stick once bootloader update is finished.

Thank you for this help, I did exactly what you said, firts the cfe_cfe_2.0 that I found on the website VuPlus.com. Then I downloaded the last blackhole 2.1.0 and did the same operation. And it works, the only thing that I can advise is to save your channels list, that I did not do.

can't unzip it says "impossibile espandere "cfe_solo_2.0.zip" on destock (error 21- it is a directory) what it's mean? ty
