I was hoping someone could help me make a decision with my first receiver purchase.
1. I live in a flat with communal sky dish (facing south) and can't put up my own dish. So as I understand I am limited to receiving Sky UK channels only, correct? (Ideally I wanted to receive brazilian channel Globo and German Sky)
2. If this is the case then would you say that a VU+ Solo is sufficient if I want to watch all Sky UK channels in HD, if the box is set up correctly via card sharing?
3. I wanted to use a pay monthly service for the card sharing. Is there a good value for money service for Sky UK only you would recommend?
4. I was thinking of purchasing a box from ebay: SATELLITE RECEIEVER VU+SOLO LINUX HD DVB-S/S2 PVR READY DIGITAL FREE HDMI CABLE - farari version with 3.2 chipset for £125 (can be found if searching for item 181230907464 - I can't post links yet)
Would you say this is a good deal and would it be suitable for what I want to do?
