VU+Solo Upgrade from 1.7.9 to 2.0.8.1.

Hello everyone!

As the topic says, i have a VU+Solo with version 1.7.9 running pretty well, but i think it's about time to upgrade it to the last version, but i have some questions about it.
The image of version 1.7.9 has more than 47MB, so there's no need to update the bootloader, so my question is, can i upgrade it to the last image version, 2.0.8.1, using the normal usb method, without the need of some extra procedure.
I ask this because from version 1.7.9 to 2.0.8.1 theres a major version change (1->2) and normally it implies some extra effort to make it work.

First you need to upgrade (by usb) to 2.0.8 version and then you will be able to upgrade online to 2.0.8.1 version.
Since you are upgrading from an old version you can't use BH Personal Backup, but you can use software manger to backup and restore your settings: HOWTO UPGRADE FROM 2.0.2 TO 2.0.3 SAVING ALL YOUR SETTINGS
