Vu SoloSE V.2 Does it record?

Hi,

I will buy a new Vu+ and I'm thinking of the latest Vu Solo SE V.2, but I'm not sure about it's capability of recording and doing time shift, as it is advertised as zapper only. Any idea?

Twin tuner and hard drive compatible so yes you can record and timeshift available by fitting hdd. hth

You can only use a external HDD with the Solo se..... No room inside the casing to fit internal HDD.

So the word "zapper" does not mean it will not record, then why didn't they state it has PVR capability?

Because it does have PVR capability bud..... It can record to a external HDD....

Do you mean that, it will not record on normal usb hdd? I have 1TB WD my passport ( a small one which doesn't need a power supply), will it be ok with the Solo SE ?
