Internal SATA VU+ Ultimo4K: the maximum hard disk capacity ?

Disco interno/Internal disk. 3.5" good and cheap.
VU+ Ultimo4K OK...3TB ..... 6TB.....8TB...OK.
Importante, el disco que pongas que tenga pocos dB ó molestara el ruido.

3TB.-Toshiba DT01ACA300 3TB 28dB
6TB.- WD WD60EZRZ 6 TB 28dB
8TB.- WD WD80PUZX 8 TB 29dB
Los discos de NAS son mas baratos, pero de 34dB a 38dB de ruido, de 28 a 29dB se nota 1dB mas, ya es audible el disco para mi oido.

Todos preparados en el ultimo 4K para verificar su funcionamiento.
El de 6TB termino en el Ultimo 4K.
El de 8TB termino en un VU+DUO2 como disco de grabaciones y NAS en red.
Recomendado poner un ventilador de 1000rpm debajo del disco, con este modelo, no tendras problemas con la altura (100mmx100mmx12mm), solo recortar el soporte de una de las esquinas (Scythe Kaze Jyu Slim 1000).

Recommended to put a 1000rpm fan under the disc, with this model, you will not have problems with height (100mmx100mmx12mm), just cut out the support of one of the corners (Scythe Kaze Jyu Slim 1000).
Importante: Encima de los tuner A y B (solo FCB), en la tapa, veras unos topes de espuma dura, colocalos 1cm mas al frente (no al final de la tapa).
Se utilizan para asegurar el buen contacto de los tuner en su zocalo, tiende a dar falsos contactos, con este cambio mejoras la conexion, no se rompe nada.

Important: Above the tuner A and B (only FCB), on the cover, you will see hard foam stops, put them 1cm more in front (not at the end of the cover).
They are used to ensure the good contact of the tuner in its socket, it tends to give false contacts, with this change the connection improves, it does not break anything.

Consumption similar, no problem/Consumos similares, no hay problema.

Being at rest / standby to the cables of the disk (it is the simplest), the yellow cable has 12 volts and the black cable for the mass (whichever you want).
The disk at all times has power, the software receiver stops/starts it when needed.
When bequeathing to a house, it is good to introduce yourself and read the rules of operation.

Estando en reposo/standby a los cables del disco (es lo mas sencillo), el cable amarillo tiene 12 voltios y el cable negro para la masa (el que quieras).
El disco en todo momento tiene alimentacion, el receptor por software lo para/arranca cuando lo necesita.
Al legar a una casa, es bueno presentarse y leer las normas de funcionamiento.
